AGD Systems, part of The Traffic Group (TTG), has secured the tender to supply cutting-edge Traffic Signal Detectors and Nearside Detectors to the Tees Valley.

This long-standing partnership with the five Tees Valley local authorities, responsible for traffic signal maintenance and design, demonstrates a forward-thinking and innovative approach to modernising transport infrastructure.

By enhancing road safety and improving traffic efficiency across Tees Valley, the partnership contributes to a more effective and sustainable transport network.

The framework will see AGD’s advanced detection systems deployed across the Tees Valley, ensuring precision, accuracy, and ease of integration to optimise traffic signal control and pedestrian crossings.

AGD’s industry-leading Traffic Signal Detectors will provide highly accurate vehicle detection, ensuring efficient signal phasing to reduce congestion and emissions. Meanwhile, the Nearside Detectors will enhance pedestrian safety by delivering responsive, precise detection at crossings, contributing to a more accessible and pedestrian-friendly environment.
