ITS UK is participating in the ITS World Congress, taking place in Dubai from Monday 16th to Friday 20th September.
The event will showcase smart mobility services and ITS deployment, and is expecting around 20,000 visitors.
We will be part of the UK Pavilion organised by Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG), on behalf of the Transport Technology Forum, supported by the Department for Transport, Innovate UK and ITS UK.

During the week, there will be a number of events taking place at the UK Pavilion, including a ‘Meet the ITS Nationals’ Breakfast, organised by ITS UK, on Wednesday 18 September and a ‘Road to Birmingham 27’ Breakfast, organised by West Midlands Combined Authority, on Friday 20 September.

On Wednesday 18th September, ITS UK will be organising an informal breakfast reception at 10.30am in partnership with the ITS Network of Nationals and their respective delegations.
The ITS Network of Nationals are a collection of some 30 ITS membership organisations from across Europe and beyond, formed in order to ensure that ITS knowledge and information is transmitted to all actors at the local and national level – such as small and medium sized companies – and support ITS promotion from the ground up. At the Reception, we will hear from ITS UK Chief Executive, Max Sugarman and Donal Hodgins, ITS Nationals Chair, as well as from other ITS Nationals in attendance.

On Friday 20th September, the West Midlands Combined Authority will host a breakfast reception at 08.30am at the UK stand, to kick off the road to Birmingham hosting the ITS World Congress in 2027.
We will hear from Transport for West Midlands, the UK Government and ITS UK about the latest developments for the 2027 World Congress and some insights into what the event will hold.
