Our next Public Transport Forum will be taking place on the 4 March (11-12.30pm), where we will have a keynote presentation from Transport for Greater Manchester, covering the integration of the Bee Network from Nick Fairclough (bio below).
We will also be featuring three ITS UK Members that were shortlisted for the 2023 ITS UK Public Transport Award, outlining their respective projects and giving us an update on their progress.

Nick Fairclough is the Senior Policy Manager at Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM), working to support development and delivery of the Bee Network, the city region’s new integrated public transport system.
Most recently, Nick led development of the city region’s ambitious Bus Strategy, which set out how Greater Manchester intends to improve and grow its bus system using the powers afforded by bus franchising.
During his eight years of policy work for Greater Manchester, Nick has also been involved in the development of a refreshed active travel mission, the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter and is currently working with colleagues to develop the city region’s next Local Transport Plan.
