In November, the Government launched its plan to develop an Integrated National Transport Strategy (INTS), which will set the long-term vision for how transport should be designed and delivered in this country. Delivering an effective, efficient and integrated transport system, that meets local, regional and national needs will play a vital role in delivering the missions of this government.
A Call for Ideas is currently live and will remain open until 11:59pm on 20 February 2025, offering an opportunity for organisations and individuals to have their say on what should be considered as part of the development of the INTS. To support this, ITS UK will be holding a workshop on 28 January, with representation from the Department for Transport, particularly to explore areas around technology and data.
We will be joined by the Integrated National Transport Strategy Director, Danny Williams, who will share current thinking on the Government’s vision, before running a workshop to get members’ views.
