Michelle is Head of Transport at Innovate UK Business Connect, operating across business, academia and government to transform the UK transport industry. Michelle is currently overseeing the delivery of a portfolio of programmes including >£455mn in R&D business innovation funding on behalf of, mainly Department for Transport, with a team of eight to enable the most innovative businesses and researchers to leverage that R&D.

Michelle is delivery partner on the Jet Zero Council and secretariat for the JZC Sustainable Aviation Fuel Delivery Group and leads on UK’s Sustainable Aviation Fuel Innovation Programme.
