Milda is the Innovation Director at the Railway Industry Association (RIA), championing transformation through RIA’s Unlocking Innovation programme. The programme aims to remove blockers to innovation implementation in the railway sector, working closely with strategic partners Network Rail, UK Rail Research and Innovation Network (UKRRIN) and Telent.

She leads RIA’s AI and digital debate, through the Digital Decade Campaign raising the visibility around the issues of digital signalling, data and AI, and ticketing technologies.

Milda has a background in transport journalism and was the co-founder of the Global AirRail Alliance, a membership organisation aiming to improve rail access to airports.
