StarGo goes live in West Sussex County Council and East Sussex Highways
Startraq are delighted to announce that two additional councils have gone live with our cloud-based Highway Licensing and Permitting software, StarGo. The deployments in West Sussex County Council and East Sussex Highways went live this week, further expanding StarGo’s footprint with Highway Authorities across the UK.
The solution has fully digitised the application and approval of multiple licence types across both highway authorities These include skips, scaffolding, cranes & MEWPs, materials on the highway, crossover / dropped kerbs and many more. Critically, in the current climate, all payments are now being taken online at the time of application, ensuring that all costs are recovered upfront without the need to generate and chase invoices and bad debt.
The deployment in West Sussex has proven the speed at which StarGO can be deployed. From contract award to go-live was under 4 weeks and included full integration with the Council’s existing payments system and the DfT Street Manager system. Mark Tinsey, StarGo Product Manager, commented, “To enable rapid deployment, most online application forms are built from existing templates. Our Council’s customers have been overwhelmingly positive about how easy it is to apply for, amend and renew their licence applications.”
