UK SMEs offered cost-effective promotional opportunity at ITS World Congress
Small and medium enterprises are being offered the chance to attend the World’s leading Intelligent Transport Systems event this year, as leading supporters of UK transport technology partner again to deliver a cost-effective exhibition opportunity.
After 12 SMEs participated on the UK Pavilion at last year’s ITS European Congress in Lisbon, companies can now sign up to take part at the ITS World Congress in Dubai this September. This is thanks to the Transport Technology Forum and Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG), supported by the Department for Transport, Innovate UK and ITS UK.
From just £2,500, participants on the Pavilion can have a space to showcase their innovations in road transport technology on a global stage. As well as an individual pod space, they will enjoy high-profile branding, inclusion in marketing material and on-stand videos, as well as exhibition passes, invitations to any delegation receptions and introductions to the Department of Business and Trade team in Dubai.
There will also be the opportunity to make connections and network with peers from across the world, find potential business partners and meet industry experts. Organisers will facilitate introductions with key stakeholders for the participants exhibiting on the UK Pavilion throughout the duration of the Congress.
Companies will also get the chance to boost their brand by sponsoring the Networking Area or supporting the UK Pavilion Drinks Reception. All the packages are priced at a reduced cost thanks to funding support for the pavilion from the Department for Transport and Innovate UK.
Participants will enjoy branding and publicity from the moment they sign up, and the UK-focussed news website Highways News will also be producing podcasts featuring the UK stand participants before and during the event. Participants will not only get to promote themselves, but also get to experience leading smart mobility solutions and may also take part in the conference giving them an opportunity to learn about the latest ITS technologies and implementations. Participants will be part of a Congress with an expected 20,000 visitors and hundreds of other exhibitors.
“Last year’s exhibitors in Lisbon praised the excitement and buzz of the stand, the networking and how much they learned from being at Congress,” commented LCRIG Operations Director Kerry Winstanley who is leading organisation of the UK Pavilion, “This opportunity not only gives companies a very cost-effective way of being involved in the World Congress, but provides them with the credibility of being alongside globally-respected organisations like the Department for Transport and Transport Technology Forum.”
Members of the Department for Transport and Innovate UK will also be participating on the UK Pavilion.
